Donna Dayton has told her contracted drivers that they cannot run the SCRA Mid-West races due to the Hoosier 1 tire rule in effect. Dayton has many drivers with different signed deals that require them to run McCrearys. If they run the SCRA races she will pull them and they will have to pay full price [$200 or so} for their tires. Many of her deals are anywhere from 10% off to less than half price. Who's getting screwed here??? This means that Jack Hewitt, Kevin Thomas, Dave Darland, Tony Elliott, Brian Tyler, Justin Marvel, Billy Puterbaugh won't get to run the SCRA races, or lose their deal [thats lots of saved money] So if she is jerking their chain for that how can they run USAC, NAMARS, Badger where Hoosier has the spec tires??? Who can this be pointed at one group and not in effect for all others. Race fans you need to write and help stop this cause your the only ones that aren't going to see the best drivers take on the best of SCRA in the Mid-west.
